Thrive Event Recap: Thriving in the In-Between Spaces
Thriving Personally & Professionally
On November 2, 2019, we held our inaugural event, THRIVE, where we offered support and practical tools to help entrepreneurial parents thrive personally and professionally — in person and in real time (you know, the thing grown folks used to do before the internet!).
During THRIVE, we debuted our first session in the series, Mental Health for Caregivers with Dr. Melissa Robinson-Brown, who spoke about thriving in the in-between space and how to show up and be your most authentic self as you navigate being a work-from-home mom or dad and professional.

We received tips for managing stress through breathing, stretching, and mindful meditation with Lisa Pineda, and parents were able to enjoy massages, breakfast, and lunch as they networked and connected with other professionals. Even our children had a blast playing games and making art with studio sitters!

We also did a little shopping and received tips from our incredible vendors, StyleChest, Keila Jewelry, and Fashion Angel Warrior.

We know that community is wildly important, so we’re kicking off our second session in 2020 with a Parents Night Out where we’ll discuss maintaining healthy relationships after having children.

You’re invited for an evening of live jazz, refreshments, and great conversations, so stay tuned for more info!
The life you lead as a work and nurture-from-home parent is different and deserves to be treated as such!
