Work from home parents — WE SEE YOU.
You’re not a SAHM or Dad and you’re not chasing down a promotion at the office. Nope. You’re in between chasing around a tiny human one minute and chasing down biz dreams the next.
A lot of parents run in the “in between” — aka — the nurture of your home life and the passion of your profession all at once.
And if that weren’t enough, you constantly straddle an imaginary line between arbitrary old school standards (your job is to raise the kids) and modern ideals of success (your job is your life).
But the line isn’t real (even though the struggle is) because you’re not one or the other.
You’re in between — a completely new hybrid of baby-wrangler and boss.
So how do you navigate this in-between space, this never seen before, this authentic or bust parent and professional at-the-same-time life, and THRIVE?
Here’s what’s happening…

THRIVE is a one day event hosted by NurtureHome, a co-working space in development for work-from-home parents (and your kiddos!).
This event will offer support and practical tools to help entrepreneurial parents thrive personally and professionally and provide an opportunity to be surrounded and supported by parents just like you who also long for something more. We’ll help equip, encourage, and inspire balance in the most important areas of your life — family, wellness, and work.
THRIVE Speakers:
In our inaugural session in the series: Mental Health for caregivers, Dr. Melissa- Robinson Brown will be leading us in a talk about thriving in the in-between space. How to show up and be your most authentic self as you navigate being a work- from home mom or dad and professional.
We will have mini-sessions and vendors providing resources and fun items for children, parent professionals, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. There will be something for everyone!

The Well-Deserved Extras:
- Childcare – Because you fight the good fight 24/7 and we know you need it. We will have loads of fun activities for children ages 2 to 6years
- Food – Need someone to feed you for once? We got you. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
- Breathe & Stretch – Breathing techniques and stretching exercises since you know you hold your breath and hunch. Namaste.
- Massage – A MASSAGE? Oh-ho-ho, YUP. You can have that too.
- Raffle & Giveaway – HIGH FIVE.
- Swag Bags – Swag or it didn’t happen!

All about childcare:
Childcare will be provided by Sitters Studio.
About the company:
Sitters Studio provides high-quality childcare services to New York and Chicago families, but our unique twist is that all of our caregivers are artists who are pursuing a career in their art discipline. Artists may be actors, singers, writers, and painters, just to name a few. The “Artisitters” come, not only with childcare experience, but also artistic toys and games ready to engage the children in interactive and creative play.
Sitters Studio is registered and insured. All Artisitters go through a thorough vetting process including: reference checks from at least three childcare references, an FCRA background check, and several in-person interviews. Each Artisitter is CPR certified for both adult and infant CPR and is First Aid trained.
Each Sitters Studio event takes place with the highest attention to safety and fun. Our check-in system includes wristbands for identification, allergy review processes, and individually assigned Artisitters to ensure that a specific person is responsible for each child.
During the event, the childcare room will be set up with stations to engage the children in all of the four major art forms: music, theatre, visual art, and dance. Each child will have an opportunity to learn and create in group activities as well as individual work. At the end of the event, parents will receive a Sitters Studio scoop that outlines what their children were engaged in during the event as well as any art that they created!
In order to ensure that adequate childcare is arranged for each guest, Childcare registration will end on 10/20/2019 at 11:59 pm. Sign up now to reserve your spot!

Know this — the life you lead as a work and nurture-from-home parent is different and deserves to be treated as such.
We’re creating a community and space (NYC grand opening soon!) for YOU and the things you hold dearest — namely, that rambunctious little heart that runs around outside your body AND the business of your dreams.
You can have both. We’re here to help you do it well and give you the resources to thrive.
Oh, and hugs too. We will definitely give you hugs.
See you November 2nd and stay tuned for our grand opening!
